Web Friendly
No matter how informative, beautiful, and easy to use your website design is, it's useless unless it's web-friendly. It is important that your web designers know the keys to making your website work on all the major browsers, and that they utilize meta tags, alt tags, are fully versed in SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
Visual Design
Your website has about 1/10th of a second to impress your visitor - and potential customer - and let them know that your website - and business (by proxy) - is trustworthy and professional. However, it's important not to go overboard with too much. Scrolling text, animation, and flash intros should be used sparingly in your web design and only to emphasize a point for maximum effect.

If a visitor is searching for one of your products or services on a search engine or directory where your site is listed, it's important that your website have a landing page that is directly relevant to what they searched for rather than forcing them to filter through all of your information. Remember, the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.
Turnaround Time
The number one complaint of website design customers is the time it takes to get the site up and running. Unfortunately, a firm that takes unusually long to complete your website is par for the course. The longer it takes to complete the website, the more business - and value - you lose. Prices depend on many variants and or design concepts, but you can be sure you are getting a great value for your design project. Design jobs are charged by the complexity of the design. Typical graphic design projects required 50% deposit before any work can be started. For Web designs we require 60% to 80% deposit to cover for hosting fees and email setups.
We encourage prospective clients to compare The Brand Affect with agencies producing the same level of work.
Once deposit is received, normal turnaround for most of our products is 5 hours to 2 days. We present the designs to the client at the black and white stage, then again at color stage, and wait for final approval before we save out all the files for you. The client files are their artwork and we are up front about this part of the process.
We do save your work in case you lose the files or need them sent again.

A finished project is yours upon receipt of final payment. At your request, we will supply the electronic files to you on USB, dropbox, or through e-mail.
